## Other cases
- Food sold through a registered cottage food vendor must show the date made. [S2]
- Pickled fruit or vegetables, fermented vegetable products, and plant-based acidified canned goods need a unique batch number. The app has an optional field for this. [S2]
- Unpackaged foods (too large or bulky to package) must give the label information on an invoice or receipt. [S2]
- Online sales: post all labeling information on your website before you accept payment. After payment, the label must carry your address or unique ID. [S2]

## Not required by Texas cottage food rules (optional in the app)
- A full ingredient list and net weight. Neither appears in [S1] or [S2]. The app supports both as best practice.

## Uncertainties
- DSHS says it "will adopt rules" to implement SB 541 [S2]. I didn't find or check final Texas Administrative Code rule text. The rules could add details such as font sizes or allergen wording.
- [S2] lists 7 example allergens and doesn't explicitly name fish or shellfish. The app covers all 9 to be safe.
- Neither source defines a minimum font size other than the 12-pt safe-handling statement.
